Advances in the study of biological characteristics,molecular biology and application of fungal lac-case, especially the edible and medicinal fungal laccase, were reviewed in this paper. It also pointed out that more attention should be paid to theoretical research, while special stress should also be paid on applied research of fungal lac-case in the future.
