The survival properties of three lactobacillus strains were studied in imitating gastroenteric environments, such as artificial gastric fluids ( pH=1.5~4.5), artificial intestinal fluids, bile (0.3~3 g./L ) and high concentration of NaCl (50~80 g/L ). The results indicated that all the three strains survived well both in artificial gastric fluids at pH=2.5~4.5 for 2.5 h and in artificial intestinal fluids after 3 h, and the viable bacterial cells for each lactobacillus strains could reach about 108cfu/mL.
