Based on the climate and soil condition of Qingdao, the performance of alternative SESHPS (solar-earth source heat pump system) was numerically simulated according to the soil temperature resuming-rate. Result indicates that the soil temperature resuming-rate of 30%~60% near the buried coil is preferable when SESHPS operate alternately by a period of 24 hours, and the time of SAHP(solar assisted heat pump) operation should be confined to 42%~58%.
