The contents of oligosaccharides and trace elements in fructus chaenomelis were determined by phenol-sulfuric acid and spectrophotometric method,respectively.The correlation coefficient of oligosaccharides is 0.9943 with the average content of 10.49%.The recovery for trace elements is in the range of 97.1%—105.9% with RSD of 2.47%—7.60%.The method is reliable and simple and can be applied to the analysis of fructus chaenomelis and related products.
