This paper deals with the building heightcontrol in the urban design of Yantai. Based on themeaning analysis of city building height control, thispaper states the relationship among city imageorientation, feature of the city and building heightcontrol, and then divides the whole city into severalsub-areas according to height control. The focus ispaid on the layout of high buildings in the city.
