Multi-sensor data fusion is a new technique developed in recent years.Multi-sensor data fusion has attracted a wide spread attention,its theory and methods have been applied to a lot of research fields.The basic concept of multi-sensor data fusion is introduced,and fusion principle,characteristic and architecture,data fusion methods and the scope of applications are discussed.The main problems and development trend are presented.
