After the Jiawu war between China and Japan, some scholars hope to base china's strong and rich on the political reform, and accept western ideas of democracy and freedom, and propose to set up parliament and to impose regional autonomy to realize their ideal. This article analyses Yanfu' s reform theory in this respect and makes some generalizations.
