Several methods of data collecting and data processing in reverse engineering are discussed. Random collection, web collection, Hammersely's points and failure function are the methods commonly used in the measurement when collecting data. In data processing, a very impotant job is to edit the cloud data, such as to produce more precise cloud data,delete noise points,give better accuracy in data,transform the coordination and so on. Finally, the technology of common model construction is presented.
