The experiments were conducted at Yuershan farm, Chengde Hebei Province, to study how harvest time affects the amount of seed yield of Siberian wildrye( Elymus sibiricus L.) growing two and three years. The results shows that 26～27 days after the peak anthesis is the best time for harvesting the seed. Any delay would cutail the yield. Seed yield of three-year-old Siberian wildrye is only fifty percent of that of the two-year-old.
