Twenty white elm clones at ten years' age were studied on the content of N, P, K in their leaves by the Kjeldahl's method of nitrogen fixation, molybdenum blue spectrophoometry and flame spectrometry respectively. The genetic variation in the content of N, P, K and its correlation with volume growth were tested and analysed. The results show that the differences in the content of N, P, K among the tested clones are statistically significant at 0 01 level. Its variation coefficient is high and its repeatabil...
