This paper describes the importance of electromagnetic compatibility of secondary equipment in electric power system. Main works in this field are pointed out. In the light of troubles arising from electromagnetic interference in China in recent years, emphasis is given to introducing the origin, build up mechanism and characteristics of some major interference and related national standards on the immunity test of secondary equipments.
