A supercritical fluid extraction-micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatographic (SFE-MECC) method was developed for the determiantion of anthraquinones in rhubarb. SFE conditions were chosen as follows; pressure: 41 .4 MPa, temperature: 50℃ and volume of modifier: 0 .4 ml. The ingredients were separated within 10 then by MECC. The established method was accurate, simple, rapid and satisfactory result was obtained.
