The herbicide atrazine(2 chloro 4 ethylamino 6 isopropylamino s triazine) is one of the most important herbicides at present and itsresidues were found in many surface and ground waters in the world.The effect of atrazine to human and ecosystem has become a focal point at issue.This paper reviewed the determination methods,kinetics,biochemical properties and risk assessment of atrazine,and suggested own points.Sixty three references were cited.
