The characteristics of turbulence flow in an stirred tank with an axial impeller have been investigated.The turbulent parameters,such as the velocity and energy spectrum,have been measured by one-dimension hot-film anemometer.In the vicinity of impeller,the fluctuating velocity has periodic component,which decreases sharply with increasing distance to the impeller tip.
