In vitro conservation of kiwi germplasm in room temperature (3-34℃) was achieved by adding paclobutrazol in MS media. Explants on MS media with paclobutrazol at 0. 5mg·-1would be stored for 11 monthes and still had more than 90% survival rate. The times of subculture could reduce and storage period could be extended by this way. Senescence rate of kiwi explants would be reduced by paclobutrazol of lower concentration and hastened by higher concentrations.
