It is here for the first time to report that there are 175 families, 736 genera, 1, 658species (excluding varieties and subspecies) of vascular plants in the DaBie Mountains. Theregional flora comprises a component part of the flora of East China. The endemic species tothis area are about 25 species. There is, however, a little difference in the floristiccompositions between southern and northern mountain slopes of the DaBie Mountains.
