Limonium gmelinii is a perennial halophilic and desert herb. The result showed that it has the characteristics of growing fast, high yields, without any withered leaves druing its flower time, and has a good palatability and high nutritions. It can withstand cold, salt alkali, drought and poor soil. It is not a fine forage at the salt alkali soil, but a good garden ornamentals and nectariferous plant.
