The methacrylic acid-acrylamide-maleic anhydride copolymers were prepared by radical precipitate copolymerization in dioxane. The copolymers exhibit the property of reversible precipitation-solubility changes due to their macromolecular complexes formed by hydrogen bonds when the pH values of the solution were changed.
