In this paper, we will analyse the effects of feedpoint displacement on the propertiesof a certer-fed dipole antenna. For the general case, we will derive at a mathematicalexpression for far-region field and formulae for antenna parameters, such as radiationpatterns, rediation resistances, gains and input impedances. We will also obtain numericalresults of the half-wave and whole-wave dipole antenna with transverse and axial feed-pointdisplacement.
