Basing on the altitude of the Pleistocene névé-line and the lower limit of glaciationas well as other traces of glaciers,during the maximum glaciation(Qn)as an instance,it is proposed in this paper to classify the late ice-cover patterns into three categories:i.e.ice cap,dendritic cover and palm-form cover.Ice caps were all developed on pre-existing degradation surfaces,having the most limited extent of distribution; while den-dritic patterns on the other hand occupied the largest area.From the distribution...
