According to the wide lingual investigation in the region of Turki-speaking nationalities, Mahamud Kashgali, a famous scholar and linguist at Kashgar in Xinjiang, compiled Diwan Lughat al- Turk Copmendium of the Turkic Dialects in Bagdad in 1070's.
