促分裂原活化蛋白激酶(Mitogen-activated protein kinase,MAPK),也称细胞外信号调节激酶(Extracellular-signal kinase,ERK),是一组进化上高度保守的丝氨酸/苏氨酸蛋白激酶,在生物体内的多种细胞信号转导途径中占有非常重要的地位,例如渗透调节、细胞壁合成、形态建成、有性交配、致病性、生长和分化等。目前在许多植物病原真菌中鉴定了MAPK基因,发现在病菌的生长、发育、繁殖和致病性等方面具有重要的调控作用,因此研究植物病原真菌中MAPK途径的功能,不但可以使人们更多地了解病害发生过程,而且每一个与致病性有关的MAPK途径相关基因都可能成为病害防治的目标。玉米大斑病菌(Setosphaeria turcica)是玉米上的一种重要病原真菌,引起的玉米大斑病是玉米上的重要叶部病害。为了明确MAPK途径在玉米大斑病菌中的可能功能,本论文在系统研究MAPK途径在玉米大斑病菌生长、发育、侵染和毒素产生等方面调控作用的基础上,获得了115个MAPK途径调控基因的表达基因片段,并克隆了1个玉米大斑病菌MAPK基因——STK1基因。
