OBJECTIVE To prepare micronazole nitrate gel and establish a quality control method of the gel.METHODS Carbopol-940 was used as the gel base,the content of micronazole nitrate was de termined with UV spectrophotometry and the stability test was performed.RESULTS The average recovery was 97.79% ,RSD was 0.43% (n=3).The gel was stabl e. CONCLUSIONS The gel can be prepared feasibly and is stable. The quality control method of the gel is simple.
