For the developmet of TCM animal model,its modeling foundation includes four basic requirements,i.e.imitating causa morbi and symptoms,objective data and drugs counterevidence,and the development method can be mainly summed into three categories,i.e.establishing animal model by imitating traditional TCM causa morbi,copying animal model by applying the causa morbi pathology of western medicine(WM) and making animal model by causa morbi theory of the combination of TCM and WM.
