In this paper, the chemical constituents, quality control method and HPLC fingerprint chromatogram of Astragalus mongholicus were studied.
The chemical constituents of Astragalus mongholicus were studied and 9 compounds were isolated and purified by silica gel, sephadex LH-20, and PHPLC column chromatography. Utilizing chemical and spectroscopic methods (UV, NMR, MS), the structures for total of 9 compounds were identified. These compounds belonged to flavonoids and saponins.
