Ursolic acid (UA) has wide pharmacological applications. However, it has a mumber of limitations such as poor water-solubility and bioavailability, liability to form solvates and difficulty to control the quality and stability of the products. In this article, we use the salt selection and polymorph screening to identify a salt candidate of UA with higher solubility, lower hygroscopicity, better crystallinity and stability.
