Although great advances have been made in defending Chinese women's rights since 1949, we must realize that complete equality between the sexes doesn't come true and women's social status remains to be made further improvements. In this paper, I research into the problem caused by absence of gender realization in the legislation, and try to look for better way to defending women's rights.
