目前,液晶显示(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)是众多平板显示器件中发展最成熟,应用面积最广,已经产业化并且仍在迅猛发展着的一种显示器件。低压差分信号(Low Voltage Differential Signal ,LVDS)作为高速、串行视频接口技术,在LCD中有着广泛的应用,因LVDS接口技术的开放性,众多LCD厂商都推出了基于LVDS接口技术的发送和接收芯片,品种繁多且格式不统一,设计一个兼容的LVDS视频信号检测平台,使不同LVDS视频信号能在同一平台下得到维护,从而可最大限度的降低维护成本。
LVDS视频发送芯片将并行数据转换成串行数据以实现高速传输,而将LVDS信号解串为通用处理器可识别的标准数字RGB信号则是显示应用的关键技术之一,一般由接收端相匹配的解串芯片实现。本课题“基于FPGA的LVDS视频信号转换系统设计实现”,能够将高速LVDS视频信号转换为标准数字RGB信号,实现LVDS视频信号解串功能,并传送到显示终端实时显示验证,以达到检测的目的。该系统具有接口灵活、体积小、重量轻,兼容性好等优点。
