Single-Strand Conformation Polymorphism(SSCP) is a simple and sensitive method to detect polymorphisms.In recent years,this method has been widely used in plant research.In this paper,the principle,methods,characteristics and affected factors of SSCP were simply introduced.And,the applications of SSCP in plant research were reviewed.
