With the development of embedded-computing technology, many embedded systems deploy embedded database. The basic characteristic of the embedded database is firstly presented. An excellent embedded database-SQLite is secondly talked. Including the distinctive features and the architecture of it, how to use SQLite is thirdly described. The application developing, cross compiling and porting in arm-linux platform are also introduced.
