TiO2/SiO2气凝胶微球的乳液反应法制备及其光催化活性
Synthesis and Photocatalytic Activity of TiO2/SiO2 Aerogel Microspheres by W/O Emulsion Reaction and Ambient Pressure Drying Method

【Abstract】 TiO2/SiO2 aerogel microspheres (TSAMs) were synthesized by W/O emulsion method and ambient pressure drying technique using TiOSO4 and silica sols as raw materials. The results show that the apparent sizes of TSAMs are 100 μm, the apparent density of TSAMs is 297 kg·m-3, while surface area is as high as 372 m2·g-1, and average pore size is 15 nm with porosity of 86.5%. The TSAMs show high photocatalytic activity and their degradation ratio of methylene blue is much higher than that of P25-TiO2 powders and TiO2/SiO2 monolithic aerogels.
