Investigation of the volatile Chemical Constituents in SI-WU Decoction by GC-MS

【Abstract】 Si-wu decoction is one of the famous tonic Chinese prescriptions, it comprised of four herbs, viz. Rhizoma chuanxiong, Radix angelicae sinensis, Radix paeoniae alba, and Radix rehmanniae praeparata which were all recorded in Chinese Pharmacopoeia, has been used since ancient times in China for the treatment of a variety of conditions including Anaemia [1]. Volatile components are very important in some traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) and traditional Chinese medicinal formulations (TCMFs) for the pharmacologically active in clinical application[2]. Scientific study also investigated si-wu decoction can proliferate the human bone marrow stromalcell lines HFCL which indicated bioactive effect on stem cells.[3] The volatile components of Rhizoma chuanxiong and Radix angelicae sinensis containing the main efficacious constituents with pharmacological activities which can be extracted have been discussed a lot but a few in si-wu decoction[4].更多还原
