磁场退火制备FePt垂直磁化薄膜
Preparation of perpendicularly oriented FePt films by annealing in a magnetic field

【摘要】 研究了用磁场退火的方法来制备具有垂直磁化的FePt薄膜.在400℃热处理过程中施加垂直于薄膜表面的磁场,大小为0-10000kA/m,诱导薄膜易磁化轴垂直于膜面。热处理后样品的结构和性能通过X射线衍射和振动样品磁强计检测。通过对热处理后样品的 XRD分析发现,样品在磁场热处理过程中有一个有序- 无序-有序重排的过程,外加磁场能够诱导薄膜易磁化轴沿着磁场方向有序化;随着外加磁场的增大,样品垂直方向矫顽力先降低再升高,10000kA/m的磁场热处理后,样品的垂直有序化参数S=0.89,矫顽力Hc= 83kA/m。
【Abstract】 FePt films have been deposited onto natural-oxidized Si(100) single crystal substrate by magnetron sputtering, the structural and magnetic properties were investigated using X-ray diffractometer(XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM). A magnetic field from zero up to 10000KA/m was applied in perpendicular direction to the film during annealing, in order to make the easy axes orienting perpendicular to the film. X-ray diffraction showed that the FePt undergo a order-disorder-order transition, the coercivity of the FePt film decrease first, and then increases with external magnetic field, but the ordering parameter S along the perpendicular direction increase all the way. The coercivity of the FePt film was 83 KA/m while the ordering parameter(S) was 0.89 after annealing in a magnetic field of 10000kA/m.
