一种新型的纤维素基碳纤维材料的研制

【摘要】 对比了Lyocell纤维和粘胶纤维两种纤维素原丝的直径和强度,两者的直径Gauss平均值均在10.6μm,但前者直径相对均匀且单丝强度是后者的2倍。同样的统计方法也用于相应的碳纤维直径的分析上.三组分混合液催化处理后的两种原丝的TGA曲线十分相似,表明两者具有十分相似的热行为。本文沿用制备粘胶基碳纤维的设备和工艺条件成功地制得了Lyocell基碳纤维,并用Weibull分析法对比了两种纤维素基碳纤维的强度。STM研究表明了Lyocell基碳纤维表面尚未形成碳网六元环结构是导致其强度不够理想的重要原因。

【Abstract】 The properties of Lyocell fibers and viscose rayon fibers were compared in this paper.Both had the sameaverage diameter of 10.6μm but different distribution, while Gauss statistical analysis indicated that the single-strandstrength of Lyocell fibers was twice higher than that of rayon precursors. The similar TGA curves permitted the samepyrolysis mechanism based on which, together with the preceding investigation, Lyocell fiber as high performancecarbon fibers precursor was proposed. Lyocell were successfully carbonized under otherwise identical conditions formanufacturing rayon based carbon fibers (RCF). The comparison of the two kinds of cellulose-based carbon fibers wasinvestigated by Weibull statistical analysis. The images of scanning tunneling microscope (STM) revealed that thecarbon hexagonal structure like graphite had not formed in the surface of LCF, which leads to poor mechanicalperformance.
