【Abstract】 Thiolated chitosans,which seem to represent a promising new generation of multifunctional polymers,have numerous advantageous features in comparison to unmodified chitosans,such as significantly improved mucoadhesive and permeation enhancing properties.This paper reviews the synthesis,properties,safety and pharmaceutical applications of different thiolated chitosans,providing the strategy and rationale for further investigations in drug delivery system.更多还原
