【Abstract】 Strontium ranelate is licensed for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis to re- duce the risk of vertebral and hip fractures.It has a novel mode of dual actions,both increasing bone for- mation and reducing bone resorption.Its advantages include well tolerated,less adverse effects and easy to use.This paper reviews the pharmacology,pharmacokinetics,clinical evaluation and safety profile of strontium ranelate.更多还原
