【Abstract】 This paper summarizes the studies of the status and roles of subsidiaries of multinational enterprises from the perspective of hierarchy mode and the limitations, and then discusses the development of understandings on the organizational framework and inner relationship and analyzes the change of the status and roles of subsidiaries from the perspective of network mode.
