旅游商品化与长阳土家族廪君神话的复活
Commercialization and the Revival of Linjun Myth in Changyang
【摘要】 在民族旅游语境中,商品化经常带有贬义色彩。本文通过一个土家族神话廪君神话在旅游发展中重新复活的个案研究,表明商品化对旅游目的地民族文化的影响非常复杂。如果旅游商品化的过程是在当地人的掌控之中,民族旅游可以通向民族文化的复兴之路。
【Abstract】 In the context of ethnic tourism,commercialization often has a pejorative connotation.One popular argument is that commercialization is a process that breaks up the integrity and identity of culture of a destination.This paper will offer a case study of ethnic tourism in Changyang demonstrating that if the process of commercialization is controlled by the local people of the destination,ethnic tourism can lead to the revival of the traditional cultural expressions.
