【Abstract】 Four points are given in this paper on the issues of advancing environment change research based on the Chinese historical archives. They are, to integrate the environment change research into the current researches of Earth System Science and Global Change; to enhance the credibility of the environment change reconstruction by reducing the uncertainties in all steps; to construct the platform for sharing the information from the Chinese historical archives by all researchers, to train new researchers on environment change with inter-discipline background by reforming the education system.更多还原
