Si3N4陶瓷的烧结及其显微结构
Sintering and Microstructure of Silicon Nitride Ceramics
【摘要】 本文主要研究了Si3N4-MgO-CeO2系陶瓷的常压烧结及其显微结构。MgO和CeO2的组合是Si3N4陶瓷的有效烧结助剂。常压烧结Si3N4-MgO-CeO2陶瓷,最佳成分为Si3N4+5%MgO+5%CeO2,在1800℃保温60min烧结后,其最大相对密度为98.5%,抗弯强度为950MPa。利用XRD、TEM和EDAX分析,确定了烧结Si3N4-MgO-CeO2系陶瓷中玻璃相的主要成分为铈硅酸盐,几乎不含MgO。
【Abstract】 This paper studied the pressureless sintering and microstructure of Si3N4-MgO-CeO2 ceramics. The combination of MgO and CeO2 was an effective sintering aid for silicon nitride.The optimum composition was Si3N4+5%MgO+5%CeO2.The Si3N4+5%MgO+5%CeO2 ceramics sintered at 1800 ℃ for 60 minutes achieved a relative density of 98.5% and a bending strength of 950 Mpa. XRD, TEM and EDAX analysis indicated that the main composition of the glass phase in the sintered Si3N4-MgO-CeO2 ceramics was cerium silicate that hardly contained MgO.
