【Abstract】 There is different in the nature on “black,white, and gray”, between Gong Xian’s artwork and western drawing. Gong Xian’s work represent “ideal natural”, whereras, the western drawing is the realistic nature. This has shown us the relationship between source and school when studying Chinese painting.
