【Abstract】 The typical process of chemical measurement has been illustrated, and the general steps of the preparation of the CRMs have been reviewed in this paper. From the view of uncertainty the chain of traceability and its continuity of chemical ingredients, the function of the CRMs in chemical analysis and the realization of the traceability of the value of the CRMs are discussed.
