【Abstract】 This paper introduces four theories about the antibacterial mechanism of silver: sterilization by static adsorption,ion exudation,light catalysis,and complex function.It analyzes the relationships between the antibacterial mode of silver and the carrier type of antibacterial materials, between the structure and element of bacteria and the modality of silver ions.It’s suggested that a clearer understanding of the antibacterial mechanism of silver will help the development of new safer,more effective Ag-supported permanently-antibacterial materials of broad spectrum.更多还原
