【Abstract】 Funeral custom is a reflection of politics,religion,economy and culture,a main part of folk customs. Tibetan funeral custom has inclusive characteristics of each nation of the world in ancient times,such as earth interment,cremation. It has three features: being influenced greatly by nature,by Buddhism and having wide variety. In Tibet the formation of funeral custom is influenced by various factors such as ethnic belief,communication and so forth.
