【摘要】 采用归纳对比的方法探讨了与人体器官相关的英汉习语。英语和汉语中都有许多与人体器官相关的习语,它们的含义和比喻在2种语言中有同有异。作者分4部分对这些词语进行了归纳、对比和探讨,认为显性的外部器官在2种语言中的含义区别不大,认识较一致、较客观;而对隐性的内部器官的认识,2种语言有异有同,但都反映了人们远古对这些器官的认识是模糊的、感性的、主观的。该研究对提高医学院校的英语教学效果有重要意义。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper is,by induction and comparison,to investigate English and Chinese expressions related to the organs of the human body.In both languages of Chinese and English,there are many phrases and expressions which are associated with human organs.Prompted by the similarities and differences in the implications and metaphors these expressions convey,the study tries to,in four parts,compare,explore and discuss these terms.Findings suggest that overt external organs found in both languages do not differ much in their implications,and people’s understanding of these organs is basically similar and objective;while the similarities and differences in the implications of covert internal organs in both languages reflect that people’s understanding of these organs was,in the past,vague,confused,perceptual and somewhat subjective.This study will play a significant role in the improvement of English teaching at medical umiversities.更多还原
