基于ESS自适应数据迁移的研究与实现
Research and Implementation of Evolutionary Storage System-based Self-adaptive Data Migration
【摘要】 进化存储系统(ESS)是一种能实现存储性能、存储容量不断提高,数据组织结构不断进化的新型存储系统.本文研究并实现了一种满足ESS动态数据迁移需求的数据迁移解决方案,该方案借鉴生物学中的进化理论和控制理论中的反馈控制技术,依据ESS不同应用场景执行相应的数据迁移策略,并且可以根据系统状态的变化动态调整迁移策略.经过对照试验的数据分析证实,该方案能高效地实现ESS数据迁移.
【Abstract】 Evolution storage system (ESS) is a new type storage system, which can improve and evolve storage performance, storage capability, data structure etc. To meet the need of dynamic data movement in ESS, this paper researches and implements a data migration solution by adopting the evolution theory from Biology Science and the feedback control technology in control theory. The solution can execute relevant data migration strategies according to different applications in ESS, and it can also change the strategy with current ESS status. The contrast experiments prove that ESS data migration solution is effective.
