【Abstract】 This paper reviews briefly the cooperative study on agronomy of wheat in wheat shuttle breeding program between CIMMYT and Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences(SAAS).Based on a series of researches on high-yielding cultivation and the extension of Chuanmai 30,the first outstanding new variety derived from CIMMYT germplasm in this shuttle breeding,the author discussed the relationship between agronomy research and wheat breeding and the importance of systematic engineering design,high-yielding cultivation,and on-farmer research in technological innovation of variety development.更多还原
