【Abstract】 Lin Yutang is an intellectual with multiple identities in modern Chinese history of literature in that he is a writer,editor and also translator.Lin forms his cross-cultural identity as a diaspora in his translation text.A close examination from the motivation of translation and the translation text or the process of translating reveals Lin’s different cultural identity from that of other intellectuals and it is the formation of cross-cultural identity that causes Lin to make his distinctive cultural alternative.更多还原
