【Abstract】 Parallel analysis is a statistical approach for determining the number of factors to be retained in exploratory factor analysis.The most common criteria for determining the number of factors are Eigenvalue Greater than 1.0 Rule and the Scree Test.Parallel Analysis provides another new idea for determining the number of factors to be retained in exploratory factor analysis.In this article,the procedure of parallel analysis,logic underlying parallel analysis and computer software for parallel analysis are introduced in detail.This article also presents an example to demonstrate the application of parallel analysis.更多还原
