【Abstract】 The paper deals with the bibliometric indicator study on current situation and research trend of engineering and technology science in Xinjiang,based on the data abstracted from EI database during the period 1996-2005.Results show that the engineering and technology research trend in Xinjiang is unstable according to the article number,while the scientific writing index is to be increased.Xinjiang University and Urumqi occupy the position of scientific activity center respectively in the aspects of institute and location.The distribution of the research field is consistent with the advantage industry in Xinjiang.更多还原
